Immigration Likely to Rise Post-Brexit Says Lawyer

Business immigration lawyer Matthew Davies has predicted that, although the idea of Brexit was to allow the government to take control over those who live and work in the United Kingdom, “It is hard to see how the pre-referendum manifesto pledge to reduce annual net migration to ‘tens of thousands’ will survive Brexit.” The idea behind the theory is that the less funding for the economy for skills training and wages will mean more dependency on migrant labour.
