According to the results of Quest Diagnostics Drug Testing Index industry analysis of general U.S. workforce urine drug tests, there have been year-over-year double-digit increases in workplace drug positivity in six of the 17 sectors reported. Retail Trade experienced the highest overall positivity rate across all four years of analysis and also is one of six sectors that saw year-over-year double-digit increases between 2015 and 2018. Not surprising, marijuana positivity increased in nearly half of industry sectors and was the most commonly detected drug with the highest positivity rates.
