In order to qualify for accreditation, a background screening firm must be regularly and primarily engaged in the business of providing employment screening services to end-users. The firm must have been providing services under the BSAAP Standard for at least a year before filing the application for accreditation. Firms must document their compliance in all procedures, which will be reviewed as part of the accreditation process and be able to demonstrable in daily business operations.
