According to HireRight’s 2017 Employment Screening Benchmark Report, 77 percent of organizations report that screening revealed an issue with a candidate that would have not been discovered otherwise. On the contrary, a CareerBuilder survey revealed that 68 percent of candidates continue looking for a job while a background check is being issued. By combining applicant tracking systems (ATSs) or HRIS management systems with background screening services, companies can spend less time on screening, while proactively mitigating risks.
