Manhattan Judge Orders 350 Marijuana Possession Convictions to be Sealed

As the result of a class action petition brought forth by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, The Legal Aid Society, New York County Defender Services and other law groups, old marijuana possession convictions for 350 people have been sealed by Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Carol Edmead. Convictions were sealed for individuals who have either one or two convictions for possession of marijuana in a public place.
