Dems Try to Ease Costs of Apartment Screenings

A recent bill that is under debate by the Colorado House could place restrictions on how much landlords can charge for rental screening applications. HB1127 is aimed at making it less expensive for low-income individuals to get affordable housing. Many people simply cant afford to spend money on multiple screenings at different apartments, said Rep. Dominique Jackson, D-Denver, the bills main sponsor.
