Why Continuous Background Checking is Crucial: Four Scenarios

Background checks should be split into two categories: 1. Factors with limited potential for change and 2. Factors with the potential to change and put the business at risk. For the second, factors could change at any time, even if nothing was flagged in the initial screening process, making continuous background checking incredibly important. An individual’s criminal record could change over the course of employment, in addition to driving history, credit history, and involvement in sexual abuse crimes.
