Several U.S. state privacy laws now require businesses to detect and honor these signals. Companies must implement technical detection, disable certain tracking technologies, update privacy notices, and ensure vendors respect the opt-out. Regulators are prioritizing enforcement, making proper implementation and testing critical for compliance.
