The end of the year is the best time for businesses to consider annual privacy policy updates and share updated consumer metrics under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). It also could be a good time to look into the notice requirements in the California Privacy Rights Act (set to replace the CCPA) and the new privacy statutes in Colorado and Virginia, effective in 2023.
