In June of this year, the EU adopted two adequacy decisions confirming that personal data can now flow freely from the EU to the UK. The decisions are important for educational institutions and will no doubt come as a relief to many who will have been taking measures such as putting in place standard contractual clauses as the end of the post-Brexit extension loomed.
