The number of workers cheating on drug screenings has been on the rise, right along with an increase in the number of positive tests for marijuana. Individuals have been found to replace urine specimens with someone else’s urine or synthetic samples found online and to submit invalid specimens, suggesting they have been mixed with an additive. With society more accepting of marijuana use and more states legalizing it for either recreational or medical purposes, it comes as no surprise to some that positive tests would be on the rise.
