House File (H.F.) 4065 was signed into law in Minnesota, allowing for the sale and consumption of “edible cannabinoid” products containing no “more than five milligrams of any tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in a single serving, or more than 50 milligrams of any (THC) per package.” The state joins several others that are slowly moving toward to legalization of marijuana and/or hemp. Businesses should be mindful of their own state laws regarding drug screening, and that of others, as well, because regulations vary significantly from state to state.
