With mid-term elections just around the corner, state lawmakers are proposing new legislation that seeks to legalize the recreational use of cannabis and establish a framework for the adult-use commercial market and the regulatory oversight thereof. Five states seek to legalize recreational cannabis, including Arkansas, Maryland, Missouri, North Dakota, and Oklahoma.
