Closing the Gap on Risk Mitigation Strategy Created by Cannabis Reform

With the patchwork of cannabis reform laws in recent years, some employers have reduced their cannabis testing efforts, but it is important to realize that dropping THC testing altogether can create a hole in the company’s risk mitigation strategy. In fact, a recent National Safety Council survey found that nearly half of the employers that stopped cannabis testing reported an increase in safety incidents and employee performance issues.
