A man was arrested in Málaga for posing as a qualified nurse for over five years, securing contracts in both public and private healthcare by using stolen identity documents and forged credentials. He began in July 2020 and worked in Málaga and Almería, despite having no degree or official registration. The deception was uncovered after suspicions by the local nursing association. He has since been released pending trial, charged with professional intrusion and document falsification.
