Eighty workers at a Hull plastics company suddenly lost their jobs without notice after a financial manager falsified accounts to give a rosier picture of the success of the company than was actually the case. Ian Fisher grossly overstated the level of work that was in progress but understated the huge debts that the company faced. The company was dissolved in March last year.
