The Portuguese National Data Protection Commission has published its “plan of activities” for 2021. It will review the requirements and procedures for the adoption of codes of conduct, as well as the measures and procedures to ensure privacy by design and privacy by default. This year it will also study European case law on the protection of personal data and privacy and it will examine the processing of personal data using artificial intelligence technologies.
