Andrewes addressed the seriousness of lying on a CV and how one business was facing the repercussions of an employee who lied about his qualifications and relevant experience in order to get better positions within the company. Employers can protect themselves by making reasonable efforts to properly vet candidates, checking qualifications, and requesting references.
