Nebraska voters have approved medical cannabis measures, which legalize and regulate medical cannabis in the state. The first, the Nebraska Medical Cannabis Patient Protection Act, would offer rights for the use of cannabis to alleviate a medical condition and its symptoms, while Nebraska Medical Cannabis Regulation Act would create the Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission. Voters in Florida, North Dakota, and South Dakota, however, rejected ballot initiatives to legalize recreational cannabis.
