According to a study by Juniper Research, the use of Digital ID checks has been accelerated due to the pandemic and it is not expected to stop anytime soon. In the United Kingdom, the right-to-work checks will end on September 30, 2022, but the temporary adjustments are expected to become permanent. The Home Office has received positive feedback about enabling digital identity checks.
