- The Privacy Protection in Working Life Act
The purpose of the Privacy Protection in Working Life Act, a special statute which entered into force in 2001, is to implement the fundamental rights guaranteeing the protection of an individual’s private life in employment relationships in the private and public sectors and to promote good practice in the handling of personal data in working life. The 1999 Personal Data Act is also complied with in working life as a general statute. - Data Protection Law
