A 23-year-old man in China has been charged after allegedly posing online as a J-16 fighter jet pilot to deceive more than 100 women into relationships, using forged military photos and credentials. In reality he was a chef, fabricating stories of military service and injury to build trust. He also allegedly attempted to extort victims through fake accounts. Police arrested him, seized military-style gear, and confirmed he’d never served in the armed forces.
