A new toolkit for employers is available to help them to ensure compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The toolkit assists with appointing an Information Officer and Deputy Information Officer/s with the Information Regulator; complying with the duties imposed on the Information Officer; updating manuals in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act; understanding the provisions of POPIA; and more.
