Connecticut’s first enforcement under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA) involved TicketNetwork, Inc., which failed to address deficiencies in its privacy notice and consumer rights mechanisms. Despite receiving a cure notice, the company did not resolve the issues within the mandated 60-day period. As a result, TicketNetwork agreed to pay an $85,000 fine and comply with CTDPA requirements, including reporting consumer rights metrics to the Attorney General’s office.
