Tinder Plans to Offer Background Checks to Avoid Dating Disasters

Tinder has announced measures to keep daters safe, including background checks. Nonprofit organization Garbo will offer the feature, which is part of Tinder’s new “trauma-informed approach” to make the app “a safer and more inclusive community.” Other safety features include mandatory internal training from the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN).
