Checkr has launched a new identity verification (IDV) system integrating biometric technology from Socure to combat rising hiring fraud. The tool uses facial biometrics, document analysis, and liveness detection to confirm applicants’ identities and detect deepfakes or impersonation. Embedded in the hiring workflow, it helps employers identify fraudulent candidates early, reduce risk, and improve hiring accuracy as AI-driven deception becomes more common.
