After publishing another round of proposed revisions to the Form I-9, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced a second public comment period for HR and other stakeholders that is open until August 8, 2022. Of note is the compressing of Sections 1 and 2 from two pages to one page, which aims to reduce the paper and storage burden on employers, a move that received some pushback from employers and stakeholders.
