How long have you been in the background check industry and what led you to join the industry? 

Since 2006 and it was a natural transition following leading a team of analysts within the Anti Money Laundering Investigations group at Citigroup.

What is important about your company that you want people to know?

We started by providing county searches and other court record retrievals with live customer service and high-touch client services. We continue to do the same to
this day, serving CRA’s and even some other bigger providers with many clients being with us from all the way in the beginning to now. Our purpose remains to have
a positive and transformational impact on the lives of our customers, employees, Any important announcements about products or services or future direction

Our focus has not shifted and will continue to be delivering the best quality records and search results in the most accurate, timely fashion and at a reasonable cost. If you had a Crystal Ball and could look into the future, what do you see happening in the background screening industry 10 years from now?

There will continue to be a focus on increased automation, data security, emphasis on compliance, integration with HR Systems and continued improvements to candi-
date experience. The globalization trend will also continue to manifest in collaboration across borders and moving towards standardization.

What is your favorite quote? 

“Prior planning prevents poor performance.” My Dad used to say that to me when I was a kid and young adult and I have carried that throughout my business and personal life. While there will always be things outside of your control, the more time spent planning generally leads towards a more favorable outcome. I have passed along that saying to my daughters and am proud of the lives that they are planning out for themselves.
