Correct!

(c) The request from XYZ is for a report, not for an investigation and it should be treated as all other requests for consumer reports are treated. If the consumer should request to see his file, this should be a part of that file.

Question:
ABC should follow the usual re-investigation process proscribed by the FCRA.

a. Do nothing.

b. ABC does not need to provide anything to the consumer.

c. The request from XYZ should be treated the same as any other request for a report.

d. Since the request is from the end user and not the consumer, there is no need for ABC to do anything other than determine whether there was an error and make a verbal report to XYZ.
